MTC Life 2
Wow, yesterday I received a letter of my own from my son! He is really loving the MTC experience, though he has already noticed he is gaining some extra pounds - eating all that high calorie (and unlimited amounts) of MTC food. And he said the 3-4 hours straight studying gets a bit long each morning and afternoon. As he said, "the days are long and the weeks are short".
He and his companion, who is is a very good basketball player, plan to beat any other two man team of Elders in b-ball. They are planning to "ball up" the MTC and beat everyone in a game of two on two. I guess they allow dunking at the MTC. The two of them are excited to be dunking the b-ball on all the other teams.
Elder Green said he may be delayed getting his visa to Mexico. Seems that most missionaries going to Mexico get delayed a few weeks. Let's hope he doesn't.
He really enjoys being with his companion (good thing!) and his other two roommates. They are laughing a lot and playing tricks on each other.
Keep up the great work Elder Green!
Love,
Dad
